Lawd have mercy! Last April, with literally hours notice, I decided to travel from my home in sunny Southern California to New York for a job. I needed a change of scenery and figured that the freelance job I was taking would last a month or two giving me what I needed. Here I am, eight months later, still in New York with plans to stay permanently.
In the months in between, I did have the opportunity to spend significant time in other states- New Jersey, Maine, Pennsylvania, Georgia & Massachusetts along with New York. Its been a good time and about time that I've traveled some other areas of my own country.
I guess you never know what paths life will lead you down sometimes! |
