Can you all say Pistacchio Gelato?! OOOOH mama. Go to Piazza Santa Croce on Via Isole delle Stinche. It's the oldest and the best in the city. Trust me when I say that, I have tried just about every place, which is why I must walk everywhere I go!! It's at the base of the church Santa Croce towards the back. Go and get yourself a lick of heaven.
Favorite Dish: Pistacchio, pistacchio, pistacchio.

Restaurant Name: Autogrill on the side of the freeways
Ok? It's the Autogrill. They are on the side of the freeways, just like reststops. Amazing thing about these Meccas is that you can get a great sandwich (pannini) or slice of pizza, an espresso, cigarettes, go to the bathroom, fill up your tank, buy a new roadtrippin cd. All in one spot. They are clean, efficient and the best thing about being outside the city limits.
