my lovely homeland

Is anything more calming than the beach? I love walking there, listening to the waves.

The swan

is the national bird of Denmark. And I think they are very elegant creatures

birds again

I have devellopped a certain fascination for bird as of late. This picture is taken by my mums friend my mums backyard..

Though before going to DK, I spent a lot of time trying to learn Danish. I practiced with Danish friends, too. Yet at the market, on the train, etc., the Danes would answer me in English. It was very kind of them, but I would have liked to try anyway. :-(

true DK is expensive...especially for turists. For Danes it is not that bad, if you know where to go. If you buy the beer in the discount supermarkets like NETTO, you can get 6 beers for 2 euros and food for allmost nothing.
