August by the pond

Raymond is in the lake region of Maine. Sebego Lake is the largest with several marinas, rentals, lodges and many childrens camps, sports and general. We are close to skiing at Shawnee peak in Bridgeton. Autunm color is not to be missed. There are several good restaurants. Be sure to try a lobster dinner, and blueberry pie.If you are here in August find someone to show you a place to pick wild blueberries . This is an experience not to be missed

feathered friends

This woodpecker is keeping me company during my morning coffee but there are many places to watch birds not as habituated to human habitats

We'll be visiting Ogunquit again the end of July 2004 to get away from Boston and the DNC. Looking forward to exploring more of Maine.

Super photos!! I love winter, and can't wait until we get our first snowfall of the season here in the Great White North (Canada). Hope to see more of your winter in Maine photos too. Thanks for sharing :-) !!

I love to come visit in wintertime - crunchy snow is my favorite. It looks like a memorable place.
