Dark Paradise

by bluefelt - last update: Sep 11, 2002

I just returned from Edinburgh after 10 days of traveling around the city. The whole point was to visit with the head of the postgraduate section of the College of Art. I can't do justice to the beauty of the city in a few lines. I met some great new friends, had some experiences to remember for a long time, and ate pretty damn good food for the UK. I'm impressed! Edinburgh excels at cuisine as compared to cities in England. This place rules compared to California: I never had to wear sunglasses, got to wear all my warm clothing I'd been saving for years, and didn't have to drive anywhere. This is a picture of the castle, as seen from everywhere. Click on "All General Tips" for some good pictures...

It's the headquarters of the Bank of Scotland, not the Royal Bank of Scotland - the two are deadly rivals....

I like your title, Dark Paradise. I was here last wknd: it was pitch by 4p, and yes, it was a nightly pilgrimage to EasyEverything for me! Loved the whole place, though!
