I just returned from Edinburgh after 10 days of traveling around the city. The whole point was to visit with the head of the postgraduate section of the College of Art. I can't do justice to the beauty of the city in a few lines. I met some great new friends, had some experiences to remember for a long time, and ate pretty damn good food for the UK. I'm impressed! Edinburgh excels at cuisine as compared to cities in England. This place rules compared to California: I never had to wear sunglasses, got to wear all my warm clothing I'd been saving for years, and didn't have to drive anywhere. This is a picture of the castle, as seen from everywhere. Click on "All General Tips" for some good pictures... |
