I confess, I'm lazy, far too lazy. I should have uploaded the pictures and developed this page far before today. Forgive me (who cares? you will say for sure). Deeply-rooted into the firm belief you actually care, instead, I'm here, after a heavy lunch, trying to think to something sensible to write here to start what is gonna be a decent-size-page, in my dreams. There should be much to say about this place, the problem that I have no more memory than a chicken, and so 10 days after having come back home, things are already fading away. What my old mind still remembers is that San Francisco is actually better, now that I visited it twice, than I thought before exiting Highway 101. This is thanks to VT member Tishomingoblues who is a San Francisco maniac. She wanted to spend 4-5 days there, I proposed only two instead because I didn't want to waste my time along the coast but preferred to immediately head westwards to the canyons. The agreement has been for three days, an appropriate mi, I thought. Too bad, for leoleo, that a new destination, Carmel and the Monterey Bay, has been added later. I appeared to them that the Bay was the most shining jewel in California and couldn't be missed by any chance. I immediately agreed for two reasons: 1) I never been to the Monterey Bay, and a new destiantion, even if imposed, was welcome 2) I day less to San Francisco.
Now I visited that town twice, and my mind changed about it. San Francisco is lovely, actually far too cold, but lovely. I think that three days to spend there, if during a tour, is an appropriate amount of time. |
