The city of angels (?)

skyscrapes in los Angeles
This is a city of contrasts.
Just like New York, you may love it or hate it. Your choice.
Los Angeles is immense in size and diversities.
It extends for miles and miles. An endless expanse of buildings, and houses, and stores, and attraction, and everything.
What is Los Angeles, at the end?
The worst possible answer, in my opinion, is the correct one.
"It is hard to say."
Too big, definitely, it seems soulless sometimes.
People who live there say there is so much to do and enjoy in Los Angeles.
I believe them, but this is hard to find for the occasional visitor as I've been three times in the last 6 years.
If I had someone to guide me in Los Angeles, I may have enjoyed more ,that's for sure, but the meaning of this community is to share the experiences, and that's mine

Pros:"So much to do (if you know where...)"
Cons:"...but how ever you will know where?"
In A Nutshell:"Such a big ciy to visit. California offers far better places"

How much are the drinks? Would the wait staff hassle you if you don't eat anything?

Hi: The restaurant is not revolving. There is a bar one level below which is revolving. The food in the restaurant was excellent! The Bonaventure hotel elevator was featured in the movie "True Lies" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I love LA; it's one of my favorite American cities. But you're right, it's huge and can seem confusing. I think the best way to see the city is to explore certains areas at a time, and eventually you'll have a better understanding of LA.

Ciao, Nicola, just want to wish you a very happy holiday! I lived in Los Angeles for 10 months and I must agree with you, it is soulless!
