...and Andreas told me "Noo, it's not snowing too much...". Well, it could even be but having a walk outside is pretty hard while you can see nothing around. It wasn't too much cold, anyway (Rome was colder), and snow helped building a magical christmas atmosphere.
The drawback was that, after I got a lot of snow on top of my head (I lent my umbrella to a colleague), and then I ate one kilogram sausages, I spent my afternoon in bed at the hotel with my belly aching.
Munich, in this pre-christmas week, is always beautiful, even if my work travels don't allow me to see much (I'm not in holidays anyway).
I also came out in the evening for dinner and had another short walk, this is a thing to do I highly recommend because colours and atmosphere get even more magical.
I've been there twice, this year and back in 1995, always during december so I cannot say how Munich is during summer but I think that this kind of places are better in winter.
Enjoy my little trip report!
