I visited Amsterdam regularly for several years because I worked in collaboration with the RIPE (Reseaux IP Europeens), that is the main Internet authority for Europe, Middle East and Africa (at least until AfriNic will start its activities).
All of my visits have been very short and busy ones so I had just a few time to enjoy the town, but I'm sad of it because Amsterdam actually really deserves .

Many say that Amsterdam is the "Venice of the northern Europe", but I think it is wrong, canals are the only thing they have in common.
Venice is some sort of a monument built at the open air, while Amsterdam is a lively, funny, big, marvellous Northern-Europe town.
I will not say to you that "it is a must see" because all of you already know it.
