First stop in my all-around-Scotland tour has been the Loch Lomond area, Strathclyde. Lovely lovely place to stay for awhile.
I find hard to think what to do there if staying for more than one day, though.
The hill in the distance is called Ben Lomond, where "Ben" stands for "mountain". It is actually less than 1000 meters high and actually among the highest (!) mountains in the United Kingdom |
