It's ok to me to make a page for London apart from pages made for the other parts of the UK, because England is a beautiful country, a must see, but London is a world itself!
It sooo large, and moving from one district to another everything changes. I've been there nine times, sometimes for weeks, sometimes just for a few days, and I'm still far from having finished visiting all the places that deserve a look.
People of every race, religion, appearance, tendency, habits and traditions live there in apparent harmony. The town itself changes shape and appearance from day to night, for winter to summer.
It is actually a world itself. Maybe it is a "common" destination. You make nobody tremble when you say "I'm going to London for an holiday", simply because everybody goes there. But there should be a reason if everybody do! A must see, and not only once in a lifetime, because you shouldn't appreciate and experience all the things this microcosmos can offer. |
