Enchanted land

by shivan - last update: Jul 8, 2004

peaceful landscapes
On may 2002 I went to tuscany with my wife and some good friends to have a pleasant sightseeing weekend.

Tuscany is a lovely country for nature, its hilly landscapes offer you always different views.

Many important people, even from outside Europe, love to come here to spend relaxing holidays on summer.

Tuscany is a most important destination for those who want to enjoy an historical journey. Tuscany has been the cradle of renaissance after the dark middle ages in Europe. The iralian culture spread from here, more than from Rome, throughout all Europe in 14th and 15th century and so many many interesting places are to be explored in this land.

My Tuscany pages, including this one, want to tell what happened, so please enjoy also my Siena,
San Gimignano
and
Montepulciano pages,
not forgetting the travelogue about San Quirico D'Orcia.

Have a nice trip with me!

unusual meetings

I never though I'd ever have seen a train like this

Is there such a thing as a bad Tuscan town? I think not!
