I've been in Bangkok during a short stop-over flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (see also my dedicated page).

Just like every the selfmade journeys, I stumbled into inconvenients and strange encounters ad also, looking at the other VTers pages, I've seen almost nothing, I think, but I like travelling for work is fun even for these things, and, most of all, it's cheap!

Anyway I definitely suggest everybody go there at least once in a lifetime 'cos Bangkok really deserves.

Very interesting tip on the Chao Phraya River! I just read a book that takes place in Bangkok and now I want to see this place for myself - you were lucky to come here on business!

Those tuk tuk drivers sound as tricky and conniving as Delhi's auto-rickshaw drivers! The sunlight in that transport pic is amazing! Is that real or photoshop??
