Favorite Thing: Did you know that the central European Time (CET) is set in Görlitz' It is because of the fifteenth meridian (longitude east) that runs through the middle of Görlitz. Every fifteenth meridian a new time zone is set.
15 meridians times 24 hours equal 360 degree (=a sphere)
Fondest Memory: The Meridiane Stone close to the Polish/German border informs you about that feature.
