Bastei near Rathen by Leipzig - Kurort Rathen

The Bastei is a rock formation near the town of Rathen, located in the scenic Saxon Switzerland’s sandstone mountains. It is an idyllic region which invites for hiking and relaxing.
It is a quite popular hiking region for Germans but rather unkown by tourists from other nations. So if you are planning a stay in Dresden or Prague area do not forget to take at least one day for a short trip to this region!
