  • This München (=Munich) is situated in Thuringa, south of Weimar. It's a very, very tiny village with around 10 houses, one station and one bus stop.

  • South of Munich you find fascinating landscape with the Alps in the background. Most locals go there on weekends to relax on one of the numerous lakes or to cycle around.

  • Dachau is not only the concentration camp. It is rather a beautiful old town west of Munich. Main attraction is the Schloss Dachau (Dachau Palace) and the Marktkirche "Sankt Jacob".

Your page brings back many ancient memories. I've been to the Hofbrauhaus and was very happy to see your pictures of the magical Nymphenburg!
