Saaremaa is Estonia's biggest island, situated west of the Estonian coast. The county's capital is Kuressaare, a small town with approximately 16.000 inhabitants. Today, Saaremaa is a popular tourist destination, especially by the Estonians and the Finns. Here you find rarely frequented beaches, cozy small villages, windmills and forests.

Hat meine Erinnerungen a 1993 aufgefrischt. Es war schon damals stark besucht. Aber Hiijumaa ist schoen ruhig.
It's good idea to go to Saaremaa and to forget about the world to have a rest.
