"Welcome to PENNSYLVANIA" Pennsylvania by Leipzig
Pennsylvania Travel Guide: 6,499 reviews and 15,289 photos
On my journey I visited Pennsylvania a couple of times. As the state is very big I just had the chance to see the east. Pennsylvania is known as Quaker State and you can see them in their horse-drawn carriages every now and then. The Poconos in the east attract hiker, skier and honeymooners. In the south you find places like Harrisburg and Gettysburg, symbols of the Civil War. In the very west is Pittsburgh, known by the Golden Triangle and the Cathedral of Learning. Because of George W. Bush, who visited the city the same time as I wanted to, my flight was delayed. Therefore, I didn't have the chance to see the city. However, I could get a glimpse of it by waiting for my plane to land.

Yes Pennsylvania is the Quaker State, but your comment that you can see "them" in their buggys made me laugh. Those folks are the Amish, not Quakers. Anyway you have a good page on Pennsylvania. Its one of my favorite states also.
Great page with interesting tipps!
Beyond the historical quarter of Colonial and Moravian structures, which actually includes buildings dating back to the 17th Century, there is also the Bethlehem Steel complex which offers a wealth of history. Plenty of amazing cafes and places to eat.
this page has good tips on historical town that i would like to visit in summer 2007. thanx for building this page on a beautiful state.
Very good tips. Quakertown - as an untouristy little town - seems to be a kind of place for me :-)
Good job. I hope there will be more Pennsylvania tips.
Another excellent "Leipzig page" - so glad to have you back!!!
You're doing a great job on my home town and home state! The Pocono Mountain Range is a nice place to visit. I'm glad you didn't stay just in the city! North and west of the city has some real treasures! We're headed for Germany next....
