New York State by Leipzig - New York State

New York is more than just the skyline of Manhattan or the Statue of Liberty. A few miles north of New York City lies the Catskill Mountains, a scenic region with numerous little waterfalls. West of it is the Finger Lake area, a hilly region with eleven long stretched lakes, formed by the last Ice Age. A great place for swimming in summer. In the very west, near Buffalo lie perhaps the most famous waterfalls - the Niagaras. And in the northeastern corner is my favorite place of New York, the Adirondacks Mountains. I was here in fall and when the foliage turns into yellow and red color it is a fest for your eyes. However, New York City is a must visiting the state.

Great start on NY State! Yeah, me too I was dissapointed by Niagara falls because it is so hard to ignore the ugliness of the gross building and tourist stuffs.
