Mahon is the capital of Menorca. The harbor of Mao (=Mahon) is the largest natural harbor in the Mediterranean and the second largest in the world. The harbor is the reason for Mao's existence but also responsible for its long turbulent history. Today of course things are peaceful and the harbor is delightful place to take a walk, and sit in one of its many restaurants.&fh
