I am always fascinated that ancient civilizations had canalizations, fresh water supply and paved streets with water run-off channels but our so-called progressive civilization took 1500 years to re-discover such developments.

The Old Theater of Ephesus has about 24.000 seats and is one of the biggest buildings of its time. It was built between 98 -117 B.C. Still today concerts are held here.

The Old Celsus Library was the biggest of the ancient times. It was destroyed by several earthquakes and was partly rebuilt in the 20th century by archeologists.
