Favorite Thing: Aschaffenburg is a quite unknown and underrated place in the northwestern corner of Bavaria. It lies on the banks of the Main river and is the gate to the Spessart. Have a walk through the wounderful old historical centre and enjoy the picturesque architecture and great flair of the town.
Aschaffenburg was the location of several United States Army - some of them still exist, so do not be surprised when a lot of people speak English in town.
