Dachau is located 20 kilometers west of Munich at the Amper River. The town was erected on a 480 meter high hill and has today over 35,000 inhabitants. Dachau has more to offer then the former concentration camp. Here you find an old city centre with pretty well-restored houses and a beautiful castle with a breathtaking view over the city and to Munich. |
