|  | Dessau is situated in Saxony-Anhalt, half way from Berlin to Leipzig and has around 80,000 inhabitants. You might have not heard about this town before but it got a rich history and numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sigths (the Bauhaus Building, the Masters' Houses and the Garden Realm Dessau-Woerlitz).
I used to live in Dessau for six mounths and will return here in a couple of weeks. Will tell you about this place as soon as I returned. |

I knew the Umweltbundesamt was in Dessau, but I had no idea they had such a fantastic building. Great that you had (or still have?) an office there. The new VHS building in Dessau is also very nice -- especially compared to the old one, LOL. | nepalgoods Thu Jul 26, 2007 12:04 UTC
