I was raised in Minnesota. It wasn't 'til I first flew over much of the state jetting back to MN from MT several years ago...that I realized just how much of the state is water. If it's not lake, river or creek...it's pond, swamp or bog. I suggest visiting Minnesota in Autumn. If you've seen the movie "Fargo"...well that's how a lot of Minnesoans really are. I mean, they don't run bodies through wood chippers...they're like (in general) the bulk of the characters in the movie. The North Shore of Lake Superior/Boundry Waters are the most impressive geographical attractions...Minneapolis/St Paul is where you'll find the big city attrations. They are like many big cities except there are more lakes, the winters colder. To my hero...I played as a kid, where "he" played as a kid.
