Where in the World next?

I've just got back from the USA and Italy. Went to Chicago and Kansas City in the USA and Cortona and Rome in Italy.

I am still planning a big trip, 4-6weeks, in Mexico/Guatemala/Belize. Hopefully I will get to (finally) see Tikal ;-)

Recent trips

I thought that I hadn't been travelling much recently, but you know what? I have. I've been to Holland twice in the last few months and in December I went to Gran Caneria and the French Alps. I'll be back in the Alps in Feb.

Less recently I headed off to Gap in France and the Boston in the USA on consecutive weekends in December for weddings. Both were great, both times I nearly missed the plane. Both times a lot of alcohol were consumed ;-)

Less recent trips

In mid August 2004 I woke up one morning and decided that it was time to go to Peru and make that big trek I've been promising myself for years. Thursday 16th September at 2 minutes past midnight was the time landfall was made. the trip was more than fun. Treking, dunboarding and protests. The full daily travelBlog is on my personal site, but I'll be putting stuff here too.

Early in 2004 I made a trip to Memphis to visit Graceland and lots of Elvis stuff. Nobody told me that it is his birthday this week.

I have also made huge efforts to get my Easter Island information sorted out, but due to the size of my Easter Island primer, it is hosted at my personal website. Please visit and enjoy (NOTE:It is still a work in progress)
