I was in doubt to go here. But i wanted to see the ruines and a dutch couple i met a few times went here also.
we arrived around 8.30 at tulum bus station.
Here we did get a flyer for a hotel read cabanas. we took a cab together for 40 pesos.
The person at the desk was not very interested so we left. Taxi to Diamante K 20 pesos. Almost no space because there is a wedding.
only 1 cabana 600 pesos was 700 pesos. but you feel the wind going through it. person at desk was friendly. but we left.
The most closest to the ruines was a big appartment at the top free. price 5000 pesos.
Finally we took 2 nights at Cabanas Playa Condesa 1200 pesos. Big mistake as we found out later.
We went to the beach i did get really burned.
Went to Diamante K for drink (expensive but good)
checked out next day. Took taxi to busstation and left my luggage in a locker. Took a taxi to the Ruines 40 pesos. took bus to Valladolid at 12.30 from busstation.

LOVE this place. We went here everyday and by the 2nd day she knew our usuals. The owner is so nice. The drinks and popsicles are so yummy. I miss it and can't wait to go back!!!!

good tips and directions to the beach. especially liked learning about the lousy cabana because we clicked on "trip advisor" and looked at their ad. great ad. yours tells the truth. thanks
