Getting TO/AROUND: it is very quick and underground. we used it from the powell station to the 16th street and from the 24th to powell station. the munipass is not valid on the BART. and i found it an bit difficult how to pay. i understand you can take it know from SFO (the airport)

Getting TO/AROUND: we took a shuttlebus from san francisco airport and paid together $25 because we both went to the Powell hotel the driver could make a different price he said. so if you are with more people to the same adress i think you can talk about the price. you share the shuttle with other people so maybe the shuttle goes first to another adress.

Getting TO/AROUND: we bought a 3 days pass at the powell street where the cablecar turns. a kind of kiosk. you can also use them on the munibus, F tram. it costs 1 day $6 and 3 days $10. we have been send wrong directions by drivers/conductors 2 times and then you have to pay every time $2 so the pass was a good idea.

Getting TO/AROUND: before we left san francisco we picked up our rental car at hertz in masonstreet. this was walking distance from our hotel. powell hotel powell street. we allready payed in the netherlands.
