we started our roundtrip here. we stayed for four nights in the Powell hotel. we arrived on the 24th of may and left the 28th of may. we came back at the 22th of june for one night.
on the 24th of may we went to the cinema Metron and saw the matrix reloaded. we had to stay awake because of the time diference in the netherlands it is nine hours later.
on the 25th of may we went to the carnival in mission street and 21st street and at 12.00 we had a meeting with topoftheworl and rixie and her husband Kelly in an italian restaurant.
after the lunch we walked a bit near chinatown. topoftheworl had to leave so we went with rixie and Kelly to meet ther daughters at the cinema where we saw the movie L'auberge Espagnole. after this we all ate at a chinese restaurant and they brought us back to the hotel. we had a great day.
on the 26th of may we were married for three years. (now divorced in 2006) we bought a three day munipas for ten dollars each. we did the wokwiz tour through Chinatown ( a tip from Brooklyned) with a dim sum lunch.
later we went to the Golden Gate park for the Japanese garden then we went to the Alamo square and saw the painted ladies walked to the cityhall after this we went to the hotel.
on the 27th of june we took the cable car to Hyde and walked to the pier 39 for the sealions.
at 9.30 we took the boat for Alcatraz with audiotour.
after this we went to the Ghiradelli square, Lombard street.
and later a bit shopping.
on the 28th of may we get our rental car and went to Yosemite national park.
