Some tips about Amsterdam I work as a tramdriver in Amsterdam.
The ticketsystem changed look on my public transport tip 2009 as it cost a lot more now to travel with the public transport in Amsterdam.
For the museums like van Gogh and rijksmuseum try to go on friday evening as it will be less crowded.
For Anne Frank house it is possible to buy tickets online.
When you arrive dont let your luggage out of sight. Especialy at crowded places like the trams heard to many sad stories how people missed there flight because there bag was gone or there wallet. Even in the lines of the van Gogh or in the museum itself. Just watch your stuff.
