The look on Lauriejeane's face was priceless when she realized that that her fellow VT members had gathered in her honor.

% The two were in the area on layover to Hawaii so it seemed only fitting for Jenn_d to make them a cake with a Hawaiin theme.
Wine and champagne were poured from start to finish. Guests donned matching dinner bibs, ate with their hands, and were given given only mallots to attack the selection of shellfish and eachother with. This was one night when it was perfectly acceptable to get down and dirty with the food.

We had a blast and the group was more than we had hoped for. Great folks!!! Hell Jenn we did not even get to see the champagne at our end of the table.
What a fun party! Oh, I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for the big event. 5am came WAYYYY too early the next day. Jenn, great job organizing and what a cake! Congrats to Spartan and Lauriejeane!
Who drank all the champagne?!?! Oh, that's right...I did. The VT crowd never disappoints, great meeting you all. It was my pleasure being hostess. I didn't expect to be hostess until 2 am on a Sunday night though!
