Imaniac (Roy) and Nighthawk (Roelien) decided to organize a double meeting in the Netherlands.
First to take place at Maastricht, second at Groningen.
The Maastricht meeting was a great meeting!

We had an ENORMOUS list of postcards to send.
We are convinced we settled a new record of the amount of postcards sent on a meeting!(*)
So... this calls for a contest!
(*)Some might wonder if not the annual VT meeting holds the record, however we consider a Monster meeting, like the annual one, another category then the regular VT meetings :-)
Huge competition:
From Monday morning 25th of August at 00:01 (00:01 am), local Maastricht time, till Friday evening 29th of August, at 23:59 (11:59 pm), local Maastricht time.
Any entries before or after that time will not be valid.

How to participate:
Send an e-mail to the member Meetings@virtualtourist.com.
Use as subject: Maastricht contest.
Answer the following two questions:
- Guess the total amount of postcards sent at the Maastricht meeting. (*)
- Guess (estimate) the total amount of pictures taken at the Maastricht meeting. Beware, not necessary all pictures will have been published!(**)
Eventually an additional question can be asked if we have more then one winner.
Your results will be published within 24 hours at the Maastricht meeting page
(*)Tip: The Maastricht forum might help you into the right direction. Cards that are accidentally sent to the same recipient are calculated as a sent card. Accidents can happen! It happens at other meetings too!
(**)Tip: A lot of pictures have been taken, as usual! To have some clue in what amounts to count, search for clues at the Maastricht forum.
The winner is:
The winner is the one who guessed right or made the most closest guess of the above questions in that specific order.
The reward!!!!
The winner will be announced on Monday 1st of September.
This person will receive a personal ?home? postcard of each of the VT members who where at the Maastricht meeting.

The amount of pictures taken is irrelevant to the meetings result, but to cure our curiosity I hope Imaniac will let us know how much it was!
To the others I would say wowww, some of you would have kept us busy writing for a whole weekend `-)
and selling out the postoffice on stamps :-)
But maybe a hint for next meetings: More postcards !!!
Others were pretty near!!! But missed by a few :-(

I just received my Maastricht postcard! I tried to list all of your names here, but there wasn't enough space... Anyway, a big "thank you" to all of you for thinking of me!
agreed `-) but now we can bring some one comfort who was not so lcky to be here ! :-)
Too bad that we as participants at the meeting itself ware excluded. I won't mind getting all the postcards..:-) but of course just getting the cards doesn't outweight having been in Maastricht....
