The heart of Jeddah is always pounding away with life. You find the markets, businesses and a lot of what you won't find anywhere else.

If you do get a chance to come to Jeddah don't be a tourist and go directly to the beach. Try looking around in the town. I bet you will find a place or two to catch your eye. You can always visit the fish market and the fruit market. Also, when you want to buy anything don't be shy to haggle with the vendor it's a "tradition". After you have absorbed all the culture and vivid essence you can go to the "Corniche" (Arabic word for "Seaside") where you will find the Red Sea coast welcoming you into its arms and you will find the modern architectural monuments and sculptures. You can also go to the bangles area in Abhor(Arabic word for "Beach") where there are a lot of beaches and you can spend a wonderful weekend.
