Visited Martha's Vineyard, Plymouth, and Salem. Was not overly impressed with Martha's Vineyard. If you are into where the rich & famous hang out, then this is probably the place for you but personally I think it's over rated and over priced! Plymouth was nice to visit. I would love to return someday and visit Nantucket Island.

If you are planning to visit MA, be sure to put Plymouth Plantation on your list of places to see. It's set up to portray life during the time of the pilgrims. It's a 'working' plantation, so people, dressed as pilgrims and Indians, go about doing various jobs...planting, building homes, cooking, etc. They talk the King's English, and really gives you a feel for how life might have been several hundred years ago.

Best dining experience while in MA was in Salem, at Red's Sandwich Shop. It used to be the London Coffee House, ca. 1698, and a meeting place for the patriots before the American Revolution. Found this fact very interesting!
