Ptuj is one of the oldest town in Slovenia, with many cultural points in town and in countryside.
It was also one of the most important town in Central Europe in Middle Ages.
The location of this beautiful town is in North-East of Slovenia.

Though I have often driven accross Slovenia, it remains an almost white spot in my travels as far as visits are concerned. Your page reminds me I must fill this white spot!

Ciao! Ptuj is much much better than picture! you can't feel atmosfere from picture! i recommend to go there and feel it! great! place! and wine too! just gooooooooo! don't miss it

Nice photos even this one taken in rain. I didn't know that it's the oldest town in Slovenia. I was there as a kid once... looong time ago in Yugoslavia :-)))
