Treviso, a small town in the same named Treviso's region, isn't actually known as a tourist place. But Treviso is undoubtedly a place with a History. In the old town you can find principalè monuments and other characteristic places. I'd count up some of them:
You can start in the Church of S.Nicola, adjacent Sala del Capitolo, passing little squere you come to Piazza Duomo. Continuing a stroll along Calmaggiore you come to Piazza dei Signori, the piricipal square with Civic Tower. I won't count up all the historical sights of this charming town - It's hardly recomanded to all of you, admirers of art , to visit it.
The greatest event in Treviso is "L'impressionismo e l'eta di Van Gogh" exhibition.
You can admire 150 works by the greatest artists between 19 th adn 20 th centuries amongst which are 40 magnificent canvases by Vincent Van Gogh.
I made this one day trip at the beginning of March, and this was the second time I visited Treviso. Last year, I admired there, an amazing canvases by Monet - another incredible author.
