Deployment #1: Jan - May 05 This was my first deployment in the AF - I went with 2 of my colleagues (pictured) and it was a great experience. Made a lot of great friends and worked my butt off. |

Meeting up with Paul at the Deid, trip #1 I was stationed in Germany back in 01-03 and met Paul who worked on Ramstein. It was cool seeing him at the Deid, right as I was leaving in Feb, he was coming in. Still had a pumpkinhead though. :-) Weren't allowed to have members of the opposite sex in our rooms so he just hung out in the hall way with the door to my room propped open. Doing the Deid #2: Oct 06 - Feb 07 This deployment was a short notice tasker - I had 2 weeks to get ready and go! It was another learning experience, although I knew the base and worked on the same stuff as I did the first time around. But still met great people and had a nice time. Nothing to complain about! 3 beers and off-base trips are privileges many took for granted! |
