    If you stay in Mestre, you can't miss this restaurant with old style and fantastic dishes. The atmosphere is great and here you can meet lot of venetians eating or drinking a "spritz". Imho the best restaurant in Mestre and I'm often there :)

    Closed on Sundays, open daily from 9am to about 23pm. The local is small so it's better if you reserve your table (specially on weekends).

    Favorite Dish: Dishes change often, depending by the "estro" of the cooker :)
    I suggest you to take "cicchetti" (mixed dish similar to spain tapas) and meat dishes, but my favourite one is some kind of risotto.

    Don't miss to take a bottle of wine: here there is a great choice with italian wines DOC like Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Valpolicella, etc.

    Here you can eat sandwiches or small dishes with a bier (there is a great choice of them)...
    Most of people are young, specially in the night.

    A beatiful "bacaro" where you can drink good wine (good choice) with a sandwich, a big "tramezzino" or a bit-size pizza... There is a peaceful venetian atmosphere... up, in the terrace, in summer there is a beautiful view on the Laguna, with the islands of San Michele, Burano and Torcello. Sometimes actors come here, but prices are medium for Venice...

    Favorite Dish: I found the bit-size pizzas just marvellous... hot, fresh, a superb food.
