SALOU

The Roman name for Salou was Salauris. It is sure that the Salou the Romans knew was a far cry from the Salou of today.

Situated on the Costa Dorada, Salou is one of the most fequented by tourist resort in Spain.
Every summer from May to October the town is a throbbing metropolis of holiday makers and pakaged tourism, which has, unfortunately, its own disadvantages.

The destination has long sandy beaches and gentle sea.

There are hundreds of bars and restaurants feasting an enormous selection of cuisines, there's traditional Spanish food, good old English fish and chips, Chinese, Indian, French, Italian, in fact the choice is endless.

Salou's night life is lively enough to please even the most discerning party animal.
Many of the bars have great live music and there's karaoke and of course discos catering for every age group.

If you like shopping then you will be in your element. There is a bargain to be had on every corner.

But if you like moonlit walks along the beach; quiet drinks sitting outside small cafes while watching the world go by, then you must surely pay a visit to Cambrils . It is situated just a few miles away but it is like being in a different world. Every day they have a street market specializing in arts and crafts, it is the best place to find unusual jewelry and clothes.

Seems it is a typical touristic tow. Am I right? I just trying to find non-touristic Spain.
