Actually there are two entrances to the site, and as we figured out lately, we entered thru the place which serves as exit to the majority of tourist groups, however it makes absolutely no difference, which entrance to take... In our route we started from the theatre. It's a huge construction and as I mentioned in the intro it seated about 25 th people at once which makes it one of the few biggest if not the biggest ancient theatres. Condition is really good adding to the overall impressions more vividness of ancient times....

This wide street with colomns led to the former port of Efesus which became shallow some time aroud 5 BC and now sea can be seen only kilometers away. The best place to admire Arcadiana is from the high rows of the theatre....

CL is most known image of ancient ruins in Turkey. This two storey arched facade through which one can see far away hills and blue sky... But I admired mostly the ceiling of the library, it's so beautiful.... lace carved in marble... have you seen anything like this before? I bet not :))))

This is the main artery of the ancient city... It goes from Library (this is according to our direction :)))) up to Odeon (a small theatre). Walking along it's very easy to prented onself a wandering Greek phylospher in white toga observing the iternity if of the time.... :))))

ok, ok :))) I know that together with ancient brothel, it's one of the most memorable experiences... Well here is the story of the picture: being tired of standard sites like theatres and libraries, I decided to diversify my picture collection by taking a photo of the ancient toilet. My friend said to me - Hey, why not take the pic with you as well? After certain hesitations, I finally made up my mind. I circled around the site round by round trying to spot the perfect position for the pic and then thought to myself, well, if I am in the toilet, the best pic would be me sitting on that very toilet. When I announced it to my friend, the reaction was more than positive, but at the same time (for more natural effect) I was forced to...... aha! to take my shorts off!! Uhhhh! My friend also advised me to make a face as if I was pushing hard..... but I only laughed hysterically, coz the site was open to the public and..... well you can imagine!
