THE LIFE MIGHT SEEM AN ETERNAL THING IF YOU LET YOURSELF SPEND AT LEAST A DAY IN SILENCE AND OBSERVATION...

| | CREDO OF THE PEACEFUL TRAVELER
Greateful for the opportunity to travel and experience the world and because peace begins with the individual, I affirm my personal responsibility and commitment to:
Journey with an open mind and gentle heart.
Accept with grace and gratitude the diversity I encounter.
Revere and protect the natural environment which sustains all life.
Appreciate all cultures I discover.
Respect and thank my hosts for their welcome.
Offer my hand in friendship to everyone I meet.
Support travel services that share these views and act upon them and, by my spirit, words and actions, encourage others to travel the world in peace.

Wanna know who am I???? the cat who walks by himself....
He will kill mice and he will be kind to Babies when he is in the house, just as long as they don't pull his tail too hard. But when he has done that, between times, and when the moon gets up and night comes, he is the Cat that walks by himself, and all places are alike to him. Then he goes out to the Wet Wild Woods or up the Wet Wild Trees or on the Wet Wild Roofs, waving his wild tail and walking by his wild lone.
-- Rudyard Kipling (thanx Neil :))))))
Travelling is that special something to me, a credo, a teacher, a life phylosophy... it's in my blood, my mind and my soul... Our life starts with travelling from the serene peaceful and well-provided inner into full of surprises, discoveries and danger outer.... in my case the travelling continued 1,5 year later when I flew from my "physical" Motherland via two other countries to the place where my parents were from. Since then a got a travel virus, this always-itching bug that makes me move and doesn't let me settle down. The more I travel, the more I want to.... Is it a disease? New people and cultures enrich me and give me the opportunity to share what I have. Isn't it one the best gifts of God to give us a chance to discover that despite of the cultural difference, color of hair or skin, place of living, we are all the same, having common wishes and aspirations, hopes and disappointments, feelings and emotions... Now having a problem of self identification what a painful task to fulfill... Just decided to figure out what nationality am I. Some of VTers calling me Russian, ok, no argue here, but what should I do with my quite close roots from Germany, Greece and Turkey? hmmm, now all the above plus my non Russian birthpalce and extensive travels make me "International Woman of Mystery" ;)) | | |
What are my pages? The are different, I mean different in the way of presenting information: some of them are written as mini-guides, some has my own comments, impressions and thoughts without any tedious historical and architechtural information and some are very initimate, very personal... Choose those you want. |
