VISITING SAN MARINO IS A MUST! Before going, I read in a guide book (which had better go unnamed), that San Marino is a silly place, with nothing to see except tacky tourist shops. For me, the views alone were the highlight of my most recent trip to Italy. If you are anywhere near San Marino, make a point of going there!
