San Francisco is best seen on foot. And, with good company, the walk becomes an experience! Thanks Jessica! :o)

They're nice to look at. They're even nicer to ride. If you're daring, take the running board and hang on tight.

Start at the Chinatown Gate. I've been to many Chinese places in the world - San Francisco's Chinatown is uniquely Chinese with an American flavor.

I like sunsets. Bridges too. The Golden Gate Bridge is fascinating. I used to think the bridge was gold. It's red, and Golden Gate refers to the mouth of San Francisco Bay which the bridge spans.

You've looked at it, came up close, so why not drive across it. From San Francisco, you'll be on your way north through Marin County.

North Beach rocks. At night. Cool clubs. Jazz mostly. Pearl's is good. If you're a smoker, better bring nicotine patches. No smoking in all bars. Not even cigars are allowed!

Pawtuxet Sun Aug 29, 2004 12:49 UTC thanks for the tour! Long time since we've been there, but 2 of my kids met there last wk. and loved it. (I didn't have the guts to ride the running board on the cable car.) | bct341 Wed Jun 25, 2003 19:34 UTC Great pages, been a few years since I have been to San Fran, nice night pic of the "gate" :) | Geisha_Girl Wed May 7, 2003 20:00 UTC You want to come back here w/ Syl, but HOW? Fly, Dante, Fly!!! Haha... Yes, that Twin Peaks photo is stunning. One of my favorite..er.... *lookout points*. Ohh boy.....if those plants could talk!! ;-> | littlesam1 Mon Apr 21, 2003 16:07 UTC Interesting page. You are correct about taking too many pictures of the Golden Gate bridge. I know I took quite a few also. |
