Boracay candle - Boracay Island

Boracay candle

Nami: Candlelit Dinner

The ambience, more than the food makes the dining experience at Nami memorable. Dinner is best, but lunch is also OK. The views are spectacular. At night, you can look at the boats and night fisherman while having dinner.

The candle has Boracay sand and oil.

Favorite Dish: The banana cake a la mode.

Jonah's Fruit Shake and Snack Bar: More fruit shakes

The name says it all... This is a place made famous by its fruit shakes. Name it - if it's a fruit, and it's in season, they'll shake it for you!

Favorite Dish: The peanut butter shake. I know - it's not exactly "fruit." But, it was shaked, and it was good! :o)

Very small signage - Boracay Island

Very small signage

Caribo: Here's Caribo

OK. I got carried away by memories of the yummy godies at Caribo. Here's the facade - the restaurant is abit hard to find. no huge sign outside. Beter ask around if you can't find it.

Favorite Dish: I want to try all of the things on the menu!

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: Look for this smallish place. When you see the Korean Dive shops, you've either passed it or are near it, depending on if you're coming from Boat Station one (near it) or Boat Station 2 (passed it - turn back!).

Price: less than US$10

The owner - Edgar Mercado - calls his cuisine Carribean. His annatto prawns grilled to perfection can make me go back to Boracay!
