Boracay is a small island off the northwestern tip of the larger Panay Island. About 400 km south of Manila, Boracay is reached via a short boat ride from Caticlan Town in Aklan Province. Small planes fly direct from Manila to Caticlan. If you want the comfort of at least a Boeing 737, you'll have to fly to Kalibo, which is about an hour and a half bus ride away from Caticlan. Boracay has nightlife, great food, water and land based sports, gorgeous people, and the most beautiful beach and sunsets I've ever seen! |

cylvia_su Thu Aug 23, 2007 08:33 UTC Hi D.Pepper!! Do you know the how long the travel time from Clark airport to Manila Airport to Kalibu. I'm so panic now as I will arrive Clark airport on 11:45am and i need to catch Cebu Pacific flight from Manila Airport to Kalibu at 3:15pm. :( | citagrantef Thu Jun 22, 2006 05:18 UTC Hi, I'm from the Pihl but living in New Zealand now. I haven't been home for 10yrs. My husband and I are looking for a relaxing place to go but doesn't cost too much. Is Boracay great for the kids and not too touristee? Appreciate your advise. Cita | dabidc Mon Feb 27, 2006 22:10 UTC Looks to be a great place to relax, fine sand, colourful seas and splendid sunsets. Maybe one day, but my love of mountains is greater at present. | p_yenyen Wed Jan 4, 2006 04:35 UTC Nice island. Hope I can go there by next month. :-) |
