We stayed at an Aquaba Hostel that had dorm facilities on the roof, no walls and a corrugated iron roof to keep the sun and rain off. Rather similar to a 'marae' you were allocated a mattress on the floor. The bonuses included the uninterupted views of the gulf and the sea breezes.
