Rather than put information about Manchester here I thought that I would add something about the area in which me and my girlfriend live, Saddleworth. Saddleworth used to be part of Yorkshire untill recently but now it is in Greater Manchester. It is made up of many small villages each with their own character. The picture is of Dovestones which is close to where we live.
This shot is looking toward the back of our house on a nice Spring evening. Manchester is over the hill to the right.
This one is about half an hour later on the same evening. You would be amazed how crap this area looks when it rains (50% of the year)
