I always intended to see my own country first. Well, that has proven to be a challenge, because there is just so much of it to see. I remember flying out to Singapore once. The flight took us directly over the Simpson Desert in the center of Australia. I felt a real yearning to be down there, in the simple tranquility of the desert. So this pic, similar to thousands of little tracks in Australia, is symbolic of where I really like to be. These are the true colours of the heart of Australia. Fabulous pictures here and the blowout... the same thing happened to us years ago as we drove through the centre, sometimes the locals know better!! |
