Baden is not far from Vienna. we travelled to Baden on our way back from Schneeberg, and it was indeed a pleasant pullover.
Lots of merrymaking were seen in the summer spirit, lots of drinking and talking at many al fresco cafes around the Rathaus.
But you can also take to the quieter part of the town through the wonderful parks, or consider yourself some spa treatment or try your luck at the grand casino. |
With healthy spa waters, paths through the vineyards and close to the Vienna Woods, there seems lots of happening in Baden.
The thermal sulphorous mineral springs were popular ro Austrain royalty that most summer the Hapsburg would be spending their time here. |
