Lauchernalp offers good snow conditions through all the winter season on the 33km skiing area up to 3'111m absl. The panorama is quite amazing as usual on the Swiss Alps ;-)

Arriving at Wiler (1419m), the valley station, you need to take the cable car up to Lauchernalp (1968m). There you will have the choice between a Tbar or a good old 2 seater chairlift to reach the detachabel 3-seater chairlift to contiinue your way up to Gandegg at 2720m where another Tbar and Snowbar (Schirmbar) are also available. Finally the modern Gletscherbahn (capacity of 15 per cabin) cable cars will lift you up to the top Hockengrat at 3'111m.

Due to the altitude and optimal sunning orientation, the snow condition is really nice when I was there beginning of April. The pistes are for every level and you could also ride off piste all the way down as there is plenty room for powder...

Beautiful photos here Patrick. I think next years visit will be late Spring maybe so sill in time for some skiing.. Samnaun I think probably...have you been...anyhow thanks for your visit to my Wengen pages and kind compliments..much appreciated!
